Abstract:

This liquid-level detection device is provided with: a light projection unit (11) that radiates light; and a light receiving unit (21) that is disposed facing the light projection unit (11), that receives the light radiated from the light projection unit (11), and that has a placement space, formed between the light projection unit (11) and the light receiving unit (21), in which a detection target is placed. The light receiving unit (21) includes at least one light receiving element (22) that receives the light radiated from the light projection unit (11) and a light focusing member (23) having light focusing surfaces (23a, 23b) that focus the light radiated from the light projection unit (11) toward the at least one light receiving element (22).
