Abstract:
A liquid-level detection device (100, 101) is provided with an ultrasonic oscillation element (11) and a housing (2). The ultrasonic oscillation element can transmit and receive ultrasonic waves. The housing has a propagation path in the inside thereof through which ultrasonic waves are propagated. The propagation path has a first path (4), a second path (5), and a connecting path (6). The first path extends horizontally from the position at which the ultrasonic oscillation element is provided. The second path extends upward. The connecting path is a curved path for smoothly connecting the end part of the first path on the opposite side thereof from the position at which the ultrasonic oscillation element is provided and the end part of the second path on the downward side thereof.
