Abstract:
Provided is a liquid level detection sensor capable of using a simple structure to increase the accuracy of the detection of the liquid level position of fuel. This liquid level detection sensor (30) for detecting the position (A) of the liquid level of fuel stored in a fuel tank (2) comprises: a vertically extending plate-like member (33), a pair of rollers (40) that sandwich the plate-like member (33) and touch both surfaces of the plate-like member (33), a contact retaining member (41) that biases the pair of rollers (40) in a direction in which the rollers approach each other and electrically connects the pair of rollers (40), and a float (43) that is attached to the contact retaining member (41). Each of the two surfaces of the plate-like member (33) has a single elongated conductor (34) provided thereon, and the buoyancy of the float (43) is set so that the rollers (40) covered by a conductive member move up and down so as to follow the liquid level position (A).
