Abstract:
A liquid oral composition that exerts an excellent effect of removing colored stains while giving a favorable feeling in using. The liquid oral composition comprises (A) 0.1-2 mass% inclusive, in terms of carbonic acid, of one or more kinds of carbonic acid salts selected from among sodium hydrogen carbonate, sodium carbonate and sodium sesquicarbonate, (B) 0.2-1.7 mass% inclusive of an anionic surfactant, and (C) 60-99.5 mass% inclusive of water, wherein: a polyvalent metal cation (D) is contained in an amount less than 0.1 time by mol as much as component (A); the product of the amount, in terms of carbonic acid, of component (A) with the content of component (B)[(A)×(B)] is 0.9 or less; and the pH value at 25°C is 8.5-10.5 inclusive.
