Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a liquid permeable body that has a different liquid permeability in the in-plane direction and in the out-of-plane direction, and that is constituted by a porous composite exhibiting excellent mechanical characteristics. This liquid permeable body is constituted by a porous composite characterized in that: at least the intersection points of a structure in which non continuous reinforced fibers are distributed are adhered by a thermoplastic resin; 30-90% of the composite are voids that are communicating pores; the average value α of the fiber orientation angle of the non continuous reinforced fibers in the in-plane direction is 0-40º; and the average value β of the fiber orientation angle in the out-of-plane direction is 0-25º.
