Abstract:
A liquid pressure transfer method for transferring a printing pattern on a transfer film to an objective article, by floating the transfer film having the printing pattern on the upper surface thereof on a liquid level inside a transfer tank, and immersing the transfer film with the objective article into a liquid inside the transfer tank by utilizing a liquid pressure, wherein an ink set containing at least printing inks of blue, yellow and red is used for printing the transfer film. Each color printing ink comprises a pigment containing a resin component and a coloring pigment. The coloring pigment is Phthalocyanine Blue for the blue ink, Isoindolenone Yellow for the yellow ink and Quinacridone Red for the red ink. The ink set can further contain a white ink and/or a black ink, and titanium white is used as the coloring pigment of the white ink, and carbon black for the coloring pigment ofthe black ink. Since these printing inks have excellent weatherability, the liquid pressure transfer article having the transfer pattern using these printing inks has excellent balance of color tone, excellent weatherability and long product life.
