Abstract:
Provided is a liquid-repellant mold manufacturing method in which a liquid-repellant mold having superior liquid repellence can be obtained by evenly coating a surface of a resin mold with a liquid-repelling agent composition that includes an aqueous liquid, said aqueous liquid being produced by dissolving or dispersing a compound having a perfluoroalkyl group with 6 or fewer carbon atoms in a water-based medium. In this liquid-repellant mold manufacturing method, a resin mold is coated with a liquid-repelling agent composition that includes water, an alcohol with 1-4 carbon atoms, and a fluorine-containing copolymer having a constitutent unit based on a monomer that has a perfluoroalkyl group with 4-6 carbon atoms. The liquid-repellant mold manufacturing method is characterized in that the content of the alcohol is 70-99.9 mass% per 100 mass% of the liquid-repelling agent composition, and the quantity of coating of the liquid-repelling agent composition on the resin mold is 0.001-0.2g/m2 in terms of the mass of fluorine atoms.
