Abstract:
Provided is a liquid sample introduction system for an ion source, wherein a liquid sample is sent to an ionization probe 30 of an ion source, and the liquid sample is ionized by spraying a nebulizer gas at the liquid sample flowing out from the tip of the ionization probe 30. The liquid sample introduction system for the ion source is characterized by being equipped with: liquid sample containers 70a-70f, that is, sealed containers each storing a liquid sample; a liquid delivery gas flow path 50 that is connected at one end to some point on a nebulizer gas flow path 41 to the ion source while connected at the other end to positions above liquid surfaces in the liquid sample containers 70a-70f; and a sample liquid delivery path 60 that is connected at one end to positions below the liquid surfaces in the liquid sample containers 70a-70f while connected at the other end to the ionization probe 30.
