Abstract:
A liquid supply type screw compressor includes a screw rotor having a plurality of tooth spaces, and a casing that has an accommodation chamber for rotatably accommodating the screw rotor and forms a working chamber together with the screw rotor. The casing includes a liquid supply mechanism that opens to the accommodation chamber and supplies liquid to the working chamber. The liquid supply mechanism has a pair of injection holes for injecting the liquid toward the working chamber, with their respective central axes being positioned on the same plane and intersecting outside the storage chamber. The pair of injection holes are configured to diffuse the liquid along a virtual plane. The virtual plane is orthogonal to the aforementioned same plane, and inclines radially inward toward the traveling direction of the working chamber from the radially outward side of the accommodation chamber with respect to the normal direction at the opening position of the liquid supply mechanism on the wall surface of the accommodation chamber.
