Abstract:
A liquid seal type vibration isolator used for pivotally supporting a vibrating body such as a car engine so as to isolate vibration, wherein a main liquid chamber (6) is allowed to communicate with a first auxiliary liquid chamber (7) through a first orifice (8), a partition part (10) is formed of a partition plate member (11) having an elastic membrane (12) and an orifice member (13), the first orifice (8) is formed of the outer peripheral parts of the orifice member and partition plate member and a tubular rubber part (4a) continued to a diaphragm, a space surrounded by the center plate part (13a) of the orifice member and the elastic membrane (12) is formed in a second auxiliary liquid chamber (15), and an opening as a second orifice (16) for booming noise leading from the first auxiliary liquid chamber (7) to the second auxiliary liquid chamber (15) is formed in the center plate part (13a), whereby the dimensional accuracy of the orifice for shaking vibration can be increased, a variation in characteristics can be reduced, and the dynamic spring constant in high frequency range can also be reduced so as to reduce noise such as booming noise.
