A liquid-sealed type vibration isolator provided with a first orifice flow path (56) and a second orifice flow path (60), wherein a valve member (66) constructed from a rubber-like elastic diaphragm and opening and closing the second orifice flow path (60) is provided to a partitioning body (40) so as to be perpendicular to the direction of flow through the second orifice flow path. The valve member is sandwiched and held at the outer periphery thereof between wall surfaces of a valve containing chamber (68) and has, on the inner side of the outer periphery thereof, a diaphragm portion (66B) deflected by a liquid flow in the second orifice flow path. Deflection of the diaphragm portion (66B) closes openings (60C, 60D) in the second orifice flow path. A communicating hole (76) communicating with the second orifice flow path is provided at a position not superposed on the openings in the diaphragm portion (66B). Characteristics of the liquid-sealed type vibration isolator can be switched between each other by the low cost structure above.
