Abstract:
[PROBLEMS] To prepare a solution having an extremely high concentration by only one
cycle of treatment. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] Disclosed is a liquid separation apparatus.
In the apparatus, a solution is atomized into a transfer gas in the form of a mist,
and the transfer gas containing the mist is transferred to the collection section
(3). In the collection section (3), a substance of interest is separated from
the atomized mist component and collected. In the apparatus, the mist component is
allowed to contact with a molecular sieve adsorbent (4) having a molecular-sieving action
through the transport gas to adsorb the adsorbent component contained in the
mist component onto the molecular sieve adsorbent (4), thereby separating the
adsorbent component from the mist component. An unadsorbed component that is
not adsorbed onto the molecular sieve adsorbent (4) is separate from the mist component
contained in the transfer gas in which an adsorbable component has been separated,
and the substance of interest is separated from the transfer gas.
