Abstract:
A first protruding rib (428a, 528a) of a cartridge (4) is brought into contact with a second wall surface (762) of a cartridge-engaging wall surface (760), the second wall surface being slanted with respect to the bottom wall (712) of a cartridge-fitting section (7), and is moved while rubbing the second wall surface (762). As a result of such contact/movement, the cartridge (4, 5) brings the contact portion of the terminal (412, 512) of a circuit board (410, 510) into contact with an electrode assembly (810) of a carriage (8).
