Title:
LIQUID TANK STRUCTURE FOR HEAT EXCHANGER
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2007/055318
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A liquid tank structure for a heat exchanger having a heat exchanger core (3) and a pair of headers (1, 2), in which a liquid tank (4) is attached to the heat exchanger, the heat exchanger core (3) is partitioned into a condensation section (AC) and a supercooling section (BC), and the pair of headers (1, 2) have inlets (R1, R2) connected to the condensation section (AC) and outlets (R3, R4) connected to the supercooling section (BC). A condensed refrigerant from the inlet (R2) is caused to flow into the liquid tank (4) from an inlet port (a1) of an inlet-side connection pipe (4a) connected to the inlet (R2) of one (2) of the pair of headers (1, 2), while a condensed refrigerant (Q) staying on the bottom side inside the liquid tank (4) is caused to flow out to the outlet (R3) from the outlet port (b1) of an outlet-side connection pipe (4b) connected to the outlet (R3), at a lower position than the inlet port (a1). A slop prevention member for reducing slop of the condensed refrigerant (Q) staying on the bottom side inside the liquid tank (4) is provided at that position inside the tank (4) which is between the inlet port (a1) and the outlet port (b1).
