LIQUID-TIGHT SLIDE FASTENER AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR

Disclosed is a liquid-tight slide fastener that is sufficiently waterproof regardless of where fastener elements are formed, said fastener elements being sufficiently securely attached to fastener tape provided with liquid-tight layers. Also disclosed is a method for manufacturing the disclosed liquid-tight slide fastener. The liquid-tight slide fastener is provided with: two pieces of fastener tape (20) that each have a tape member (21), a larger core section (22) provided at the tape member (21) edge opposite the other tape member, and a liquid-tight layer (23) formed on one surface of the tape member (21); a pair of fastener element rows (30), each of which is provided on one of the pieces of fastener tape (20) and comprises a plurality of fastener elements (31); and a slider (40) that makes the pair of fastener element rows (30) mesh/disengage. The liquid-tight layers (23) are formed at intervals across the width of each core section (22) and fastener tape (20). The fastener elements (31) are attached to the core section (22).
