Abstract:
The invention provides a production method for a liquid type lead storage battery. This production method comprises: the step of preparing a battery container divided into two or more regions by one or a plurality of partition walls; the step of preparing two or more pole plate groups, each pole plate group containing a plurality of positive electrode plates, a plurality of separators, and a plurality of negative electrode plates; the step of accommodating the pole plate groups in the regions of the battery container; and the step of supplying an electrolytic solution into the battery container. When accommodating the pole plate groups in the regions of the battery container, each of the pole plate groups is pushed into the corresponding region while a compressive force in the thickness direction of the pole plate group is applied from the partition wall to the pole plate group.
