The present application relates to the field of detection and purification devices, and specifically, relates to a liquid waste and public liquid box and assembly thereof. The box comprises: a first layer holding portion, a second layer holding portion, and a stirring apparatus. The first layer holding portion comprises multiple cavities which are not communicated with each other. At least one cavity is a liquid waste collecting cavity. The second layer holding portion is provided below the first layer holding portion. The second layer holding portion is configured to be used for filling the liquid waste. Each liquid waste collecting cavity is communicated with the second layer holding portion. The stirring apparatus is connected to the liquid waste collecting cavity. Spatial layouts of the multiple cavities of the liquid waste and public liquid box and the stirring apparatus are compact and reasonable, facilitating the use of operators. Providing both a public reagent holding portion and a liquid waste collecting portion in one box not only saves space, but also reduces the number of times for changing consumables by a user, so as to save time and improve use efficiency. By providing the stirring apparatus, the problem that magnetic beads precipitate is solved, and using effect is better.
