Abstract:

A liquid wax to be applied to runway surfaces in icy or snowy conditions, the wax exhibiting superior runway properties; and a method for manufacturing said liquid wax for runway surfaces, wherein paraffin is dispersed in and mixed with an organic solvent, the organic solvent is formed using a volatile first organic solvent and a second organic solvent that is more volatile than the first organic solvent, and 1-bromopropane is used for the second organic solvent.
