Abstract:

A difluorophosphate which has been expensive and difficult to obtain is easily and efficiently obtained so as to have a high purity from materials which are inexpensive and easily available. A cell excellent not only in low-temperature discharge characteristics and high-current discharge characteristics but in high-temperature storability and cycle characteristics is produced without impairing safety. A hexafluorophosphate is reacted with a compound having, in the molecule, the bonds represented by the formula (1). Si-O-Si (1) Also provided is a nonaqueous electrolytic solution for use in a nonaqueous-electrolytic-solution secondary cell which comprises a negative electrode and positive electrode each capable of occluding and releasing ions and a nonaqueous electrolytic solution. The nonaqueous electrolytic solution is characterized by being produced from a mixture obtained by mixing at least one nonaqueous solvent, a hexafluorophosphate, and a compound having the bonds represented by the following formula (1) and then removing therefrom a compound which has been newly yielded in the system and has a lower boiling point than the compound having the bonds represented by the formula (1).
