Abstract:
A lithium-ion battery additive, a battery containing the additive and a preparation method, which relate to the field of lithium-ion batteries. The lithium-ion battery additive is a polyvinylpyrrolidone compound, and is selected from at least one of compounds represented by formula I. By adding the lithium-ion battery additive into an electrolyte, an electrode material can be effectively wetted, and the reversible capacity of a battery can be improved. A nitrogen element in the polyvinylpyrrolidone compound can effectively capture transition metal ions dissolved out of a positive pole and an acid produced in electrolyte decomposition and prevent an SEI membrane from being destroyed.
