A lithium ion battery pressing apparatus, comprising: a base plate, a fixed frame, a pressing plate, and a hinge apparatus, the fixed frame being fixed to a corresponding position on the base plate, the pressing plate being connected to the fixed frame by means of the hinge apparatus, the hinge apparatus spacing the pressing plate apart from the base plate, and an accommodating space used for accommodating a battery cell being provided between the pressing plate and the base plate; the hinge apparatus comprises a dead-point structure composed of a first hinge arm, a second hinge arm, a first pin shaft, a second pin shaft, a third pin shaft, and a handle, wherein the first hinge arm is connected to the fixed frame by means of a hinge base, and the second hinge arm is connected to the pressing plate; when the first hinge arm and the second hinge arm, driven by the handle, reach the dead-point position, a battery cell placed between the pressing plate and the base plate is tightly pressed.
