Abstract:
The present invention is a lithium-ion battery separator in which an inorganic pigment is applied to a nonwoven substrate, and is characterized in that a layer composed mainly of the inorganic pigment, a layer in which the inorganic pigment and base fibers are mixed, and a layer composed mainly of the base fibers are laminated in that order. The separator is capable of increasing the safety of lithium-ion batteries in which the separator is used, and is capable of improving cycle characteristics.
