Abstract:
The invention relates to a vehicle battery (3), for an electric or hybrid vehicle (1), wherein the battery (3) comprises several lithium ion cells (4), arranged together discretely in an outer housing (7) which is placed in a vehicle (1) in an exchangeable manner. A self-securing modular construction of lithium polymer cells is preferably used.
