Abstract:
The present invention relates to a lithium ion capacitor, which: absorbs and discharges a lithium ion in a cathode and, simultaneously, exhibits electric double layer performance so as to increase electric energy density and increase a discharge voltage, thereby being effectively usable as backup power of an electronic device; has a cathode sheet, an anode sheet, a separator, and an electroless electrolyte provided in a space between a case and a cap, and can implement the cathode sheet without having a separate lithium metal by allowing a lithium compound to be contained in a cathode active material, such that various shapes and forms can be prepared and, simultaneously, the lithium ion can be safely and efficiently doped; enables a simple manufacturing process to be carried out; can prevent the lithium compound from being oxidized and eluted by oxygen and water when being prepared by a wet process by allowing the cathode active material to be prepared through a dry process during the preparation of the cathode active material, thereby enabling high duration, high power, and high energy density performance to improve; and performs, under a nitrogen atmosphere, a primary mixing process for mixing a conducting material, activated carbon, and a lithium compound of a cathode active material, thereby enabling the deterioration of battery performance to be efficiently blocked in advance by more efficiently blocking a pre-reaction of the lithium compound.
