Title:
LITHIUM-ION CELL MODULE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2017/150052
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is an assembled battery with which it is possible to reduce the charging amount of a cell at high temperatures through a reliable operation. An assembled battery having a plurality of secondary cells, which have a cell container and a positive electrode terminal and a negative electrode terminal, the cell container having a pair of large-width surfaces and two sets of small-width surfaces facing each other, the positive electrode terminal and the negative electrode terminal being provided to any of the small-width surfaces, the plurality of secondary cells being stacked so that the large-width surfaces face each other, and the positive electrode terminal and the negative electrode terminal of adjacent secondary cells being connected by a bus bar so that the plurality of secondary cells are serially connected, wherein the secondary cells have a short-circuit member for conducting a current between a positive electrode charge unit and a negative electrode charge unit, where a bus bar is not provided, in response to an increase in temperature of the secondary cell.
