Title:
LITHIUM ION SECONDARY BATTERY NEGATIVE ELECTRODE MATERIAL AND LITHIUM ION SECONDARY BATTERY
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2019/031597
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A lithium ion secondary battery negative electrode material comprising a carbon-coated composite material containing: a composite material containing silicon-containing particles, graphite particles, and amorphous carbon; and additional amorphous carbon coating the composite material. The carbon-coated composite material is such that: with respect to the total of the area (A) of a peak around 396 to 400 eV, the area (B) of a peak around 283 to 288 eV, and the area (C) of a peak around 530 to 536 eV as observed by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), the ratio of a peak area (D) around 99 to 105 eV, or D/(A + B + C), is not more than 0.015; and the ratio of a BET specific surface area S to a specific surface area T calculated by spherical approximation on the basis of a volume-based accumulated grain size distribution measured by laser diffractometry, or S/T, is not more than 7.3.
