Abstract:
Provided is a configuration of a lithium-ion secondary cell having exceptional low-temperature rate characteristics. This lithium-ion secondary cell includes, as a negative electrode, a composite body (A) that includes Si-containing particles (A1) in which the average particle diameter dAV of primary particles is 5-95 nm, particles (A2) comprising a graphite-containing substance, and a carbonaceous material (A3), the lithium-ion secondary cell including a composite negative electrode material in which 80 or more particles (A1) having a minor axis/major axis ratio of 0.70 or greater are present among the particles (A1), and being such that a non-aqueous liquid electrolyte includes the liquid electrolyte additive shown in the formula. (A is CAT+ or R1, and B is CAT+ or R2. CAT+ is a cation of pyrrolidinium, piperidinium, azepanium, onium, sulfonium, phosphonium, imidazolium, pyridinium, or a heterocyclic ring. +Cation includes onium, sulfonium, phosphonium, and a heterocycle.)
