Abstract:
The present invention belongs to battery technical field, and provides a lithium iron phosphate automotive starter battery. Said battery comprises a battery case (2), a top cover (1), posts (4,5), battery cells (10) and a protection board (6), wherein the battery cells (10) and the protection board (6) are installed in the battery case (2), and the battery cells (10) consist of four series-connected single cells with lithium iron phosphate as cathode materials. The battery of the present invention has the following advantages: no memory effect, good safety, more cycles, large instantaneous discharge current, being suitable for automobile starting, high energy conversion efficiency, being able to stabilize supply voltage of automotive systems, saving fuel and reducing emissions.
