Title:
LITHIUM METAL COMPOSITE OXIDE POWDER, POSITIVE ELECTRODE ACTIVE SUBSTANCE FOR LITHIUM SECONDARY BATTERY, POSITIVE ELECTRODE, AND LITHIUM SECONDARY BATTERY
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2019/177032
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
This positive electrode active substance for a lithium secondary battery: includes a lithium metal composite oxide powder containing secondary particles which are aggregates of primary particles, and single particles that are present independently from the secondary particles; and is characterized in that the lithium metal composite oxide is represented by compositional formula (I), and the average crushing strength of the single particles is greater than 80 MPa. Formula (I): Li[Lix(Ni(1-y-z-w)CoyMnzMw)1-x]O2 (Here, M is at least one type of metal element selected from the group consisting of Fe, Cu, Ti, Mg, Al, W, B, Mo, Nb, Zn, Sn, Zr, Ga, La and V, -0.1 ≤ x ≤ 0.2, 0 ≤ y ≤ 0.4, 0 ≤ z ≤ 0.4, and 0 ≤ w ≤ 0.1)
