Abstract:
Provided is a lithium-nickel composite oxide having an Fe content of less than 10 ppb and a Cr content of less than 10 ppb, the lithium-nickel composite oxide being represented by the general formula Li1+uNixCoyAsBtO2+α (where u, x, y, s, t, and α in the formula satisfy the relationships 0 ≤ u < 0.3, 0.03 ≤ x ≤ 0.93, 0.03 ≤ y ≤ 0.50, 0.04 ≤ s ≤ 0.6, 0 ≤ t < 0.1, 0 ≤ α 0.3, and x + y + s + t = 1; element A is one or more selected from Mn and Al; and element B is one or more selected from Mg, Ca, Ti, V, Zr, Nb, Mo, Sr, and W).
