Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to improve the output characteristics of a lithium secondary battery that uses an electrolytic solution. This lithium ion secondary battery has a positive electrode, and a negative electrode. The positive electrode has a positive electrode mixture that has dielectric particles and a positive electrode active material, and the dielectric particles are represented by Ba1-xMxTiO3 (where, M = La and/or Sr, and x = 0 to 0.1). The weight ratio of the dielectric particles to the positive electrode active material is within the range of 0.1/99.9 to 10/90, and the coverage factor represented by a ratio B/A is within the range of 1-50%, wherein B represents the surface area of the dielectric particles covering the positive electrode active material, and A represents the surface area of the exposed part of the positive electrode active material + the surface area of the dielectric particles covering the positive electrode active material.
