Abstract:
A lithium secondary battery comprising a positive electrode, a negative electrode, a separator disposed between the positive electrode and the negative electrode, and a nonaqueous electrolyte that has lithium-ion conductivity, wherein in the negative electrode, lithium metal precipitates during charging and the lithium metal dissolves during discharging, the negative electrode is provided with a porous resin substrate and a lithium metal layer layered on the porous resin substrate, and the porous resin substrate has a porous region that is not filled with the lithium metal layer.
