Abstract:

Provided is a lithium secondary cell capable of improving cycle characteristics at 4.2V and higher. This lithium secondary cell is a lithium secondary cell of 4.2V or larger in which a lithium transition metal complex oxide is used as a positive-electrode active substance. A silicon-containing cyclic compound and/or the reaction product thereof are present near the negative electrode constituting the lithium secondary cell. In the silicon-containing cyclic compound, at least one of the atoms constituting the ring is a silicon atom, and the compound has at least one vinyl group.
