Abstract:
The present invention relates to a livestock feed additive containing polyurushiol and a method for preparing same, and more particularly, to an antibiotic and anticoccidial livestock feed additive prepared by mixing urushiol extracted from raw lacquer with a diluting agent and inducing polymerization of the urushiol mixed with the diluting agent, and to a method for preparing same. The livestock feed additive containing polyurushiol prepared according to the method has excellent antibacterial, insect-repellent, and anticoccidial properties for maintaining the health of the intestines of animals. Therefore, just a small amount of or no antibiotics needs to be administered.
