Abstract:
A livestock feed having high nutritional value and excellent digestibility and absorption as well as a bioregulatory function, immune system functions, intestinal mucosa and particularly the repair function of the villi, and which promotes the recovery and improvement in the constitution of weak, debilitated or distressed livestock when fed to the livestock, thereby improving productivity and preventing outbreaks of disease. The livestock feed comprises at least a triester formed from a medium chain fatty acid and glycerin (A), tocopherol (B), tocotrienol (C), and carotene (D), with the amount of each component A - D in 100 parts by mass being (A) 97 - 99.99 pbm, (B) 0.001 - 2 pbm, (C) 0.001 - 0.5 pbm and (D) 0.001 - 0.5 pbm. The composition is fed to an animal by oral administration using a predetermined container filled with the livestock feed composition, by putting the tip of the nozzle into the mouth of the animal.
