A livestock identification method, a device, and a computer readable storage medium. The method comprises the following steps: receiving a facial photo of livestock to be identified and a corresponding identity identifier to be verified (S10); according to a pre-determined feature vector extraction algorithm, extracting a pre-set type of feature vector of the facial photo (S20); according to a mapping relationship between the identity identifier to be verified and a first preset type of identification model, determining the first preset type of identification model corresponding to the identity identifier (S30); and inputting the preset type of feature vector of the facial photo into the determined first preset type of identification model, and outputting an identification result (S40). The present invention determines a corresponding identification model by means of a received identity identifier, and uses the determined identification model and a feature vector extraction algorithm to identify a facial photo of livestock to be identified, so that remote batch identification of livestock can be realized.
