Abstract:
In order to always obtain an accurate measured value regardless of changes over time in the characteristic value of a circuit element, provided is a living organism state quantity measuring device (1) provided with: a detection unit (2, 3) which detects information indicating the state of a living organism from a living organism or a living organism sample (A) taken from the living organism and outputs the detected information as a current; a current/voltage conversion circuit (4) which converts the current outputted from the detection unit (2, 3) into voltage; a double integration A/D conversion circuit (5) which comprises an integration capacitor (53) that is discharged after being charged on the basis of the voltage (Vsig) outputted from the current/voltage conversion circuit (4), and a counter (55) that measures the charge time and discharge time of the integration capacitor (53), converts the charge time and discharge time measured by the counter (55) into a digital quantity, and outputs the digital quantity; and an information processing unit (55) which calculates the state quantity of the living organism on the basis of the digital quantity outputted from the A/D conversion circuit (5).
