Abstract:
The present invention relates to an LNG boil-off gas reliquefaction system for small- and medium-sized LNG-powered ships and an LNG boil-off gas reliquefaction method using same, wherein boil-off gas (BOG) generated from LNG fuel, which is emerging as a clean fuel, is reliquefied multiple times through a plurality of heat exchangers, so that the BOG, which would otherwise be discarded from small- and medium-sized ships not equipped with a separate reliquefaction system, is effectively recycled, and the operating costs and bunkering costs of such small- and medium-sized ships are reduced.
