Abstract:
A load cell, which is used for a weighing apparatus, of the type in which a strain gauge pattern (4) made of a copper-nickel alloy is formed on the surface of a strain generation member (1) by sputtering and is heat-treated in an oxygen-free atmosphere, the weight ratio of the copper-nickel alloy is set to a value so that the resistance-temperature coefficient of the strain gauge pattern (4) which extends and contracts integrally with the strain generation member (1) becomes substantially zero. In this way, it becomes possible to obtain a load cell having a high measuring accuracy which is not affected by the change of temperatures.
