Abstract:
A load control device is provided with a load control means for driving a load, a current sensing resistor, a differential amplifier, and a current calculation means. The load control means can perform switching between a standby state in which a state in which one of switching elements is turned on and the other of the switching elements is turned off and a state in which the one of the switching elements is turned off and the other of the switching elements is turned on are repeated, and a drive state in which both of the switching elements are turned on. The current calculation means calculates a current flowing through the current sensing resistor on the basis of a value outputted from the differential amplifier in the drive state and an offset value outputted from the differential amplifier in the standby state.
