Abstract:
A load detection sensor capable of highly accurately and stably measuring a heavy load.
A load detection sensor (40) comprises: a force sensor (41) provided with a tuning fork vibrator; and a block body (42) having a rectangular parallelepiped outer shape and transmitting an applied load to the force sensor after reducing the load by a lever. The block body (42) incorporates a lever mechanism and a Roberval mechanism which are worked and constructed from a side surface of the block body extending in the longitudinal direction, and the force sensor (41) is joined to the side surface of the block body (42). The block body (42) is cut and ground from the side surface thereof in order to construct the lever mechanism and the Roberval mechanism; however, as a result of the rectangular parallelepiped outer shape, the block body (42) has sufficient mechanical strength and can stably reduce an applied load.
