Abstract:
In the present invention, a power converter (60) is provided between a power supply line (Lp) and a ground line (Lp) which are connected to a battery (15), and the power converter converts direct current power and supplies the converted power to a load (80). A control circuit (30) operates using voltage supplied from the battery (15), and controls the operations of the power converter (60). A reverse connection protection relay (52) is configured from a semiconductor switching element and, when OFF and when the battery (15) is reverse connected, cuts off the current flowing from the ground line (Lg) to the power supply line (Lp) via the power converter (60). The reverse connection protection relay (52) is provided on the ground line (Lg). Voltage for turning the reverse connection protection relay (52) ON is configured so as to be supplied to a gate when the battery (15) is forward connected and to not be supplied to the gate when the battery (15) is reverse connected.
