Abstract:
A load measurement device for a railcar truck having vibration isolating rubber provided between an axle box and a truck frame is provided with a vertical load variation sensor disposed so as to be parallel to the vibration isolating rubber and deforming in conjunction with the vertical elastic deformation of the vibration isolating rubber supporting the downward load from the truck frame. The vertical load variation sensor generates variation in electric output by deforming in conjunction with the vertical elastic deformation of the vibration isolating rubber.
