Abstract:
A load sensor is provided that is used in a multi-axis actuator, and that can accurately detect the load of a pushing force on an object. A load sensor (40) that is used in a multi-axis actuator and has a first shaft-form member that moves in a straight line in the axial direction, a second shaft-form member (22) in which is formed a hollow section (22h) that is disposed parallel to the first shaft-form member and that moves in a straight line in relation to the object, and a connecting member that connects the first and second shaft-form members, wherein the load sensor (40) comprises an attachment part (41) that is attached to the second shaft-form member, and a body part (42) connected to the attachment part and having a recessed section (420) that is recessed toward the opposite side from the attachment part. The main body part has: a peripheral wall part (421); a facing wall part (422) that is formed to be thinner than the peripheral wall part, and that functions as a strain inducer component; a suction part (423) that is pressed against the object in a state in which the object projects toward the attachment part side and toward the side on the opposite side from the attachment part, and communicates with the hollow section (22h), the entirety of the suction part (423) being capable of moving along the axial direction; and strain gauges (43)-(46) provided on the facing wall part around the suction part.
