Abstract:
Provided is a load sharing method for message forwarding, comprising: when an SCCP type-1 service message is received, performing a global title (GT) translation on the message to convert a GT in the SCCP type-1 service message into a signaling point code for a load sharing signaling point; when there are multiple load sharing signaling points corresponding to the signaling point code, filtering, according to an SLS code in the SCCP type-1 service message, the load sharing signaling points to select a destination signaling point; generating a new SLS code according a transaction ID contained in the SCCP type-1 service message; and filtering, according to the new SLS code, signaling links connecting to the destination signaling point to select a signaling link for transmitting the SCCP type-1 service message, and forwarding, over the signaling link, the SCCP type-1 service message to the destination signaling point. An embodiment of the invention solves a technical problem in which a small range of available SLS values results in a low utilization rate of a signaling link and excessive use of a signaling link resource in a load sharing process for message forwarding.
