Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a load state determination system that can accurately manage placed items that are placed in a line on a shelf while conserving vertical space. [Solution] The invention comprises: a main shelf (27d) that is placed on a rack (24) and on which placed items (100) are arranged front to back; the rear edge (27b) of the top shelf (27u); an imaging device (71) that is placed behind the rearmost placed item arranged in the front to rear direction and that images the placed items and a reference part; and a load state determination unit (81) that determines the load state of the placed items loaded on the shelf. The load state determination unit measures distances (ha, hb, hc) between the placed items and the reference part on the basis of the image captured by the imaging device and determines the load state on the basis of the distances.
