Abstract:
A load support member for furniture, having provided therein a first side wall (13) and a second side wall (14) that are arranged mutually facing. The inside surfaces of the first side wall (13) and the second side wall (14) have protruding therefrom first reinforcing ribs (17) and second reinforcing ribs (18), respectively, said reinforcing ribs having a straight line section that protrudes in a direction orthogonal to the extension direction of each side wall (13, 14). The first reinforcing ribs (17) and the second reinforcing ribs (18) are coupled by slanting coupling ribs (19).
