Abstract:
A machine (100) includes a frame (104) and a dump body (108). An electronic controller (216) is operably connected to the machine. At least one accelerometer (204) is disposed to measure an acceleration of the frame (104) and/or the dump body (108), and to provide an acceleration signal (304, 306, 308) to the electronic controller. The electronic controller is disposed to receive and analyze the acceleration signal and provide a loading signal (302) indicative of a severe loading condition to a remote control station (114) and/or a loading machine (102) performing the loading.
