Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to suppress tilting of a cam roller concomitant with rotation of a disk, while reducing friction between an opening edge of a retainer and an end surface of the cam roller. A cam roller includes: a rolling surface which comes into contact with a first cam surface of a first disk and a second cam surface of a second disk, and which is formed in a circumferential shape around a rolling axis of the cam roller; and an end surface which co-rotates with the first disk and the second disk and faces in the radial direction of an axis of rotation. The end surface has a dome-shaped convex curved surface, and points of intersection of normal lines to each point on the convex curved surface of the end surface and the rolling axis are positioned closer to the axis of rotation than is the center of gravity of the cam roller.
