Abstract:
Provided are an image local enlargement method and apparatus, and a display device. The image local enlargement method provided in the present application can be applied to a display device. As an example, the method comprises: when a local enlargement instruction is received, determining an image block of interest to be enlarged, located in a target display area, in a compressed image currently displayed by a display device, wherein the compressed image is obtained by the display device performing image compression on a received original image; determining a target image block corresponding to the image block of interest in the original image; and displaying the target image block in the target display area to obtain an enlarged image of the image block of interest.
